August 7, 2026 – Sichuan, China

Building Digital Trust in Modern Healthcare

As digital health platforms expand across East Africa, safeguarding patient data sovereignty and ensuring strict legal compliance are no longer optional—they are the bedrock of reliable healthcare infrastructure.

Today, the MyHealthNote Ecosystem is proud to announce a strategic legal-tech partnership with Lawcraft Attorneys, a premier corporate, technology, and intellectual property law firm based in Tanzania.

Through a newly executed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), this partnership establishes Lawcraft Attorneys as Counsel of Record and localized digital legal partner for MyHealthNote in Tanzania. Together, we are bridging health data sovereignty, localized legal governance, and cryptographic document authenticity.

Key Pillars of the Partnership

  1. Regulatory Alignment & Data SovereigntyLawcraft Attorneys will provide localized regulatory stewardship to ensure all MyHealthNote architecture and operational workflows strictly comply with the Tanzania Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and local health privacy mandates.
  2. Co-Engineering Legally Binding Digital Advance DirectivesThrough our MyHealthCard module, MyHealthNote and Lawcraft are co-developing a legally enforceable digital framework for Advance Medical Directives, Living Wills, and Healthcare Power of Attorney. Designed in full compliance with Tanzanian law, this feature empowers patients to designate medical decision-makers and legal custodians seamlessly.
  3. Cryptographic Anti-Fraud & Authenticated Digital NotarizationTo combat medical report tampering and document forgery, MyHealthNote has engineered a Two-Layer Anti-Tampering Engine:
    • Cryptographic Layer: Official documents issued on the platform embed SHA-256 cryptographic hashes and smartphone-scannable QR verification links connecting to a live validation environment.
    • Legal Verification & Notary Routing: Under Section 0.9 of our platform, users and institutions can route sick-notes, medical reports, and health attestations directly to Lawcraft Attorneys. Lawcraft verifies the cryptographic hash and applies an official Digital Notary Stamp/Watermark, ensuring complete authenticity.

Setting a New Standard for Legal-Tech in East Africa

“Our vision at MyHealthNote is to build a healthcare ecosystem where every connection matters, every document is verifiable, and patient rights are legally protected,” says Dr. Joel Swai, Chief Researcher at MyHealthNote. “Partnering with Lawcraft Attorneys allows us to embed legal enforcement directly into our software stack.”

By uniting advanced digital health architecture with trusted legal expertise, MyHealthNote and Lawcraft Attorneys are setting a precedent for compliant, transparent, and technology-driven healthcare solutions in Tanzania.
